banana-list continues the BANANA list (Bay Area Numerical Analysis Networking Alliance) created in 2000 by Tamara Kolda (Sandia National Labs, Livermore) to help researchers stay informed of seminars in numerical analysis and scientific computing around the San Francisco Bay Area.
