Dear BioPortal maintainers,

The scope of the PRotein Ontology (PRO) has changed to the point that
the description needs to be refined. Please replace the description on

http://bioportal.bioontology.org/ontologies/1062

with the following:
===
PRO provides an ontological representation of protein-related entities
by explicitly defining them and showing the relationships between them.
Each PRO term represents a distinct class of entities (including
specific modified forms, orthologous isoforms, and protein complexes)
ranging from the taxon-neutral to the taxon-specific.
===

In addition, the status of PRO should be "Production" and the latest
paper is: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3013777/pdf/gkq907.pdf

Many thanks for the resource!

Best regards,

Darren Natale
