Dear Priti,

In general, these questions should go to support at bioontology.org.

Here are the answers.

> We submitted Parasite Lifecycle Ontology (PLO) v. 0.1 to NCBO which was a very preliminary version. Now we revised the ontology, added a lot more concept, used BFO as an upper level ontology, and named it as Ontology for Parasite Lifecycle (OPL). How should I upload the new version; i.e., as a new ontology or an updated version of PLO, which will now be called OPL?

It is up to you, but I would suggest that you should still upload it as a version of the old ontology. And rename it as you upload.

> Also, can I get a new Bioportal Purl link for OPL (since old link says PLO)?

After you upload it, please send a message to support at bioontology.org and we will create it for you.

Best,

Natasha
