The strange thing is that it appears to have worked before (judging by the 
old version). It broke in mid April. I don’t think that we have changed 
anything on our side.

The problem seems to be that the download link returns HTML rather than an 
OWL file. Perhaps it is using HTML to redirect, but this does not work. An 
excerpt of the text that we are seeing is given below. You can see the 
entire page that we retrieve if you download the ontology from the link on 
the bioportal page.
