Ok, two problems to fix:

{
        "apikey": “your api key",
	"http://www.w3.org/2002/07/owl#Class":{

	"collection":[{
	
"class":"http://purl.bioontology.org/ontology/MDR/10002043",
		"ontology":"http://data.bioontology.org/ontologies/MEDDRA"
	}],
	"include":"synonym"
	}
}

Note the lack of an array (sorry about the confusion on that, I guess it only applies when you have multiple class ids). The second is that you should be using the unencoded id for the class, not the REST resource location.

The above works for me.
