Hi Trish,

I see the below defect was closed, will the fix be part of the upcoming bioportal release?

There appears to be a bug when trying to use OR with the Search API as the results returned appear to be the same as when using AND. This issue is now reported:

I am still reviewing examples of NOT with the Search API.

Can you please provide an example of using the OR or NOT operation as the current syntax at

  *   Boolean Search Options:

     * () parentheses allow to enclose multiple terms joined by OR
* Example: "(foo bar)" will expand to "foo* OR bar*"

     * - the minus sign preceding a term indicates NOT
* Example: "foo bar -baz" will expand to "foo* AND bar* AND NOT baz*"

     * No prefix means MUST (required).

does not work for me. If always return results of an AND operation between the 2 terms<>(LEG ARM)&apikey=<> -ARM&apikey=<> ARM&apikey=

all return 260 results for where only both arm and leg are present
