Thanks a lot Trish , my username is asifjaan

Is there a place where future dev plans are listed? The current tool is very useful for one of my projects, and I wanted to know if there is anyway we could contribute to the effort.

Regards,

Hi Asif,

Yes, you are able to perform a local installation. Can you send me your BioPortal username [1]. The Virtual appliance download also includes the source code, however I don't believe there is a process to submit code back. Ray, is this still the case?

Trish

Hello,

I need to setup a metadata repository, on the same lines as bioportal, and would like to know if I could host the system on my server for experimentation purposes.

Also, is it possible to get the source code of the system, extend it, and publish the changes back e.g. is the system developed in a collaborative manner.

Many thanks for your reply.

Asif
