[bioontology-support] ontology metadata

HI Trish:

Actually no. I want to remove the ontology owner for some ontologies that I had uploaded myself and put people's names in it. I want to take a screenshot for a publication and would prefer not to have people's names.

Hi Line,

To check, by update ontology metadata I gather you mean add new categories or groups or add a user as an admin of an ontology? If yes, then this can be done by working with the BioPortal Metadata ontology directly through Protege. Information on how to add or change categories, is provided here: http://www.bioontology.org/wiki/index.php/Virtual_Appliance_FAQ#How_do_I_add_or_change_categories.3F

Dear all:

I would like to update ontology metadata in the ESIP portal deployed on EC2. I do have access to the bioportal_admin module but the tabs for Update ontology metadata & Reassign Ontology owner are shaded out. How can I perform this task?

Thanks
