[bioontology-support] bioportal permalinks broken?

Yep this is broken. The new system uses URI's everywhere as a matter of
policy. Thus the Purl is going to be ugly since the id will be URI
encoded. It should work though and currently does not. Have created a bug
for this. Should be fixed next week.

Subject: [bioontology-support] bioportal permalinks broken?

In the past, clicking on the charin (link) icon from a particular concept
would give a nice short permalink like
<http://purl.bioontology.org/ontology/NCIT/C1005>
http://purl.bioontology.org/ontology/NCIT/C1005 that could be used to
share a concise link to a particular concept page.
Thankfully, these links still seem to resolve correctly.

However, clicking on the chain (link) icon on a page, now presents a
permalink like
<http://purl.bioontology.org/ontology/http:/ncicb.nci.nih.gov/xml/owl/EVS/
Thesaurus.owl#C1005>
http://purl.bioontology.org/ontology//http://ncicb.nci.nih.gov/xml/owl/EVS
/Thesaurus.owl#C1005

This link is longer, uglier, and broken.

thanks,
