[bioontology-support] Bioportal Image at USC, Columbia - how to delete ontologies

Hi,
By firing the 2 http calls (here under), the submissions and ontology are
removed from BioPortal UI and from REST services responses, but the files
are still there in :
\srv\ncbo\repository\ACRO
Is-it safe to delete them manually ?
Should that be done automatically when calling the REST services ?
Bye
Clement

Dear all,
An alternative way of doing it (thru the REST API) is:
1. Delete submission(s) with:
HTTP DELETE
http://appliancename.domain.edu:8082/ontologies/ACRO/submissions/1?apikey=yo
uradminAPIkey
In which you replace 1 by your submission number and repeat for each
submissions
2. Delete ontology with:
HTTP DELETE
http://appliancename.domain.edu:8082/ontologies/ACRO?apikey=youradminAPIkey
<http://appliancename.domain.edu:8082/ontologies/ACRO?apikey=youradminAPIkey
&acronym=ACRO> &acronym=ACRO
Should be working ;)

Hi,
I am Nikhil and is part of a team working on a virtual image (using the one
provided by bioportal) at the Computer Science Department at USC, Columbia
SC. This project is being administered under the guidance of the Dept Chair
Dr. Micheal N Huhns and Dr. Pat O'keefe.
We have been successful in setting up the image and it pretty much is
running smoothly. However, we cannot figure out how to delete an ontology. I
have used the bioportal before and recall contacting the support team to get
an ontology deleted. So, I understand there is something that we need to do
as an admin.
Please through some light on this. Thanks!
