Sorry but this information is out of date. To create a mapping from class
A in ontology X to class B in ontology Y, in the bioportal UI first open
ontology X and navigate to class A. Then go to the mappings tab and press
the "create mapping button". You need to be logged in to create a mapping.

Subject: [bioontology-support] mapping problems

Hello,

I try to add a manual mapping between a class of my ontologie to a class
of another ontologie.

I search for doing this with
http://www.bioontology.org/wiki/index.php/BioPortal_Mappings.
But i don't really understand how to do it.

I use Protege 4.3, and add skos editor plugin.
But how can i create the right property (like altLabel or prefLabel) to
point to the other ontologie i want?

Thanks,
Willy
