[bioontology-support] [BioPortal] Feedback from Peter Kalchgruber

Hi Peter,

It looks like this ontology was created as a "view" of a different ontology (Behaviour change technique taxonomy). You can see it here:

Was that done on purpose? Views are considered representations of existing ontologies, and they don't appear in places where an "ontology list" is displayed.

Hi Michael,

thank you for your fast answer and for fixing.
I see, the parsing is done. But I sill can not find the ontology neither in the search<> view nor browsing<>. If I click on class view of the ontology<> it seems so search for an infinite time.
I am unsure, if there went maybe something wrong?

I think somehow I lost administration rights for the BCTT ontology<>. Could you please give me the permission back?

Thank you!

Best regards,

Hi Peter,

Apologies for the delay processing your ontology. The issue is now resolved and you can view and browse your ontology here:

Thank you for hosting such a great tool! I did want to participate and uploaded an ontology
1. Unfortunately I can not add any more submissions at my created ontology. The button "add/edit submission" does not appear anymore with my account "univie".

2. The ontology has not been parsed so far. Is it normal, that parsing takes some days? Or is there something wrong?
I did also tried to validate my ontology with our validation form. It replied: "valid ontology".

Thank you so much for your help.

Best regards,
Peter Kalchgruber
