[bioontology-support] Bug in Form Autocomplete Widget Display

I haven’t spent too much time looking at this in detail yet, but I’m reasonably certain it’s not a server-side issue. I think the issue is in the widget’s JS code (form_complete.js).

Thanks for the reply.

Hello Lewis,

Apologies for the late reply. I was able to reproduce this behavior, so it’s not incorrect usage of the widget on your part. It looks like a bug in the widget’s JavaScript code. I’ve entered an issue in our tracker and we’re working on getting this fixed.

Good Morning support@,
I’ve been using the Autocomplete widget [0] taken from the form_complete.js [1] code.
When searching across ‘bp_form_complete-all-name’ BioPortal ontologies, I notice a bug when the autocomplete widget provides autocomplete results.
The bug appears to display a mixture of HTML markup mixed into the ’name’ entity.
I’ve attached a screenshot of this for your to see what I mean.
Please also see the HTML below which shows how I am using the widget

thefacetview += '<input type="text" class="facetview_freetext bp_form_complete-all-name span4" style="display:inline-block; margin:0 0 21px 0; background:' + options.searchbox_shade + ';" name="q" \
value="" placeholder="search term" data-bp_include_definitions="true" data-bp_objecttypes="class,property,individual" />';
if ( options.sharesave_link ) {
thefacetview += '<a class="btn facetview_sharesave" title="share or save this search" style="margin:0 0 21px 5px;" href=""><i class="icon-share-alt"></i></a>';
thefacetview += '<div class="facetview_sharesavebox alert alert-info" style="display:none;"> \
<button type="button" class="facetview_sharesave close">×</button> \
<input type="hidden" id="q_bioportal_preferred_name"> \
<input type="hidden" id="q_bioportal_concept_id"> \
<input type="hidden" id="q_bioportal_ontology_id"> \
<input type="hidden" id="q_bioportal_full_id"> \
<p>Share or save this search:</p> \
<textarea class="facetview_sharesaveurl" style="width:100%;height:100px;">http://' + +
window.location.pathname + '?source=' + options.querystring + '</textarea> \

Any ideas if this is incorrect usage of the widget on my side or if it is a bug server side?
Thanks in advance.
