[bioontology-support] Question about Annotator

Hi Luis,

Thank you for your patience with this. It took a while for the Annotator processing to complete, but it has, and the problem appears to have been resolved. Let me know if you encounter further issues.

Sincerely,

Michael Dorf

Hi Louis,

Thank you for reporting this to us. It looks like both annotations refer to the same class, but one of them has the old namespace that's no longer used in the ontology. I'll re-process the the ontology for the Annotator; it should take care of the problem. I'll keep you posted when the processing completes.

Thanks,

Michael

Hi!

Why there always two annotations by term in the text, even when I choose just one Ontology?

For example:

http://data.bioontology.org/annotator?apikey=8b5b7825-538d-40e0-9e9e-5ab9274a9aeb&text=limb%0A&ontologies=RADLEX&longest_only=false&exclude_numbers=false&whole_word_only=true&exclude_synonyms=false

Here I'm just annotating the word "limb" using just the RadLex ontology. But the result is a list of two annotations, really similar to one another. What's the difference between the two annotations and what is the importance of this difference?

Thanks from Portugal!
Luís Campos
