[bioontology-support] [BioPortal] Feedback from Simona Colucci

Hi Simona,

Thanks for resending this query, sorry we didn't respond to the original February 8 question.

While we don't have a lot of resources to pursue sparql endpoint questions very far, this seems like an important constraint. I will touch base with the DevOps and developers to see if we can find an answer for you. And will post it to the list when we know more (or know we won't know more....).

Likely end of the week to get that information, due to vacation and work constraints.

I am getting problems when quering the service "" through a java application I am coding.
I set the apikey and the endpoint regularly answers my queries if their length is such that a HTTP get is still allowed.

The problems start when ah HTTP Post is required by the length of the query.
In this case, the method execSelect() calls execGet(), which in turn reverts to execPost(), due to the length of the query.

By debugging my code, it looks like the the access to the service is forbidden to execPost().

I guess this is somehow related to the apikey.
Does the endpoint support queries embedded in Http Post?
