[bioontology-support] How to always get the most up-to-date ontology file?

Hi Michael,

You should be able to get the ontology filename by calling the latest submission endpoint with the display=all flag turned on:

http://data.bioontology.org/ontologies/BTO/latest_submission?display=all

The property uploadFilePath will give you the file extension

  *
  *   uploadFilePath": "/srv/ncbo/repository/BTO/33/BrendaTissue.obo”,

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Michael

Hi,

Yes - this REST API call:

http://data.bioontology.org/ontologies/BTO/download

Is there a way to get the file format of the downloaded file without
having to download the file?

Best wishes,
Michael
