Varying sources contribute to NDCs and their status.  Sources are obtainable through the RxNorm API [1] via call /ndcstatus [2].

Why would an NDC show up on your website but not on other NDC Registry sites? NDC in questions is 71610023706 that an insurance is rejecting as an invalid NDC. Thank you!
