Hello Sanne,

Yes, the BioPortal REST API always serves the most recent submission of the ontology. One option would be to look at the ontology summary page on the BioPortal website (http://bioportal.bioontology.org/ontologies/CTCAE). You can see the version number of the latest submission in the “Submissions” table, which is 5.0.

You can also see the version information for the latest submission with a REST call like the following:

http://data.bioontology.org/ontologies/CTCAE/latest_submission
