[bioontology-support] [BioPortal] Load from URL failure for Fission Yeast Phenotype Ontology

Hi Val,

Apologies for any confusion.

There’s an “Edit latest submission” button at the top of the Submissions table on your ontology summary page:

[cid:440704A1-9388-4AD8-A004-86E0D6D35C5A]

The button is only visible if you’re logged into BioPortal. I checked the permissions on FYPO and it looks like you have administrative access to the ontology with your “Val Wood” account. Once you click on the button, you’ll be able to scroll down to the Location field, and update the “Load from URL” field to use the PURL for FYPO.

In order to add additional BioPortal accounts as administrators to your ontology, click the “Edit ontology details” button at the top right corner of your ontology summary page: https://bioportal.bioontology.org/ontologies/FYPO. Use the administrators field in the resulting form to add accounts. If the person you’d like to add doesn’t have an existing BioPortal account, they can create one here: https://bioportal.bioontology.org/accounts/new.

If you need help with any of this, let us know.

Kind regards,
Jennifer

BioPortal failed to load Fission Yeast Phenotype Ontology (FYPO) from URL: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pombase/fypo/master/fypo.owl.

Please verify the URL you provided for daily loading of your ontology:

  1. Make sure you are signed in to BioPortal.
  2. Navigate to your ontology summary page: http://bioportal.bioontology.org/ontologies/FYPO.
  3. Click the "Edit submission information" link.
  4. In the Location row, verify that you entered a valid URL for daily loading of your ontology in the URL text area.

If you need further assistance, please contact us<mailto:support at bioontology.org> via the BioPortal support mailing list.

Thank you,
The BioPortal Team
