SuperSynapses is anew startup company building next generation of software
for biomedical andtargeting multibillion dollar market.
We arelooking for a Chief Scientific Officer to join the company as
co-founder ordevelopment team. He/she should provide the leadership
andexpertise to ensure the company’s excellence in biomedical research
(molecularbiology, cell biology, bioinformatics), and to keep pace with the
company’sstrategic direction with extremely dynamic industry growth in
Biomedical field.The success candidate should have track records of research
in lifesciences, biological data modeling, and computational experience
withsignificant emphasis on systems used to solve bio-, chem.- or
medicalinformatics problems.
Senior Scientist
A highly experienced Masters, Ph.D orM.D. in molecular biology or related
discipline with a broad base of experiencein both the biological sciences and
computer science. You have experience withgene ontology, cell cycle
regulation, signal transduction, oncology,cardiovascular or immunology. You
thrive in challenging startup environmentsand have excellent in analyzing
complex gene expression studies, data mining,sequence analysis and pathway
mapping to support on-going development.
Bioinformatic Scientist
MS degree required (PhD preferred) in Biochemistry, Bioinformatics,
BiologicalSciences, or Molecular Biology, with a demonstrated ability to
identify andsolve bioinformatics problems. Familiarity with current
bioinformatics tools isessential, as is your personal combination of solid
science background and goodsoftware/database application development skills.
Experience with Perl, HTML,Oracle, and/or Java is also desirable.
