Garban is not a "programme" but a suite of programmes and databases accessible via its website. The programmes are not open source but access to the programs in the site is free. 

The source code to install GARBAN locally is not publicly available. Institutions which may require it, can contact: Garban at

Isn't that entirely irrelevant to whether it's open source or not?
