April 22 2005: GOA releases.
GOA (GO Annotation at EBI) is a project run by the European
Bioinformatics Institute that aims to provide assignments of gene
products to the Gene Ontology (GO) resource. The project announces
the 28th release of all GO annotations that exist in UniProt
(GOA-UniProt) as well as an 30th release of annotation for the
Swiss-Prot/TrEMBL/Ensembl/RefSeq non-redundant human proteome set
(GOA-Human) and 16th release of GOA mouse and rat and a 19th release of
our PDB data set (see the news item below). This release also sees the
4th release of GOA UniProt Proteome sets and the 3rd releases of GOA
arabidopsis and zebrafish.
