The minutes of the 2004 Annotation Camp can be found at:
In 2004, the camp was a mixture between discussions and group
annotation of a few papers to illustrate difficult problems, and short
lectures on various topics related to the process of human curation.
There are two main goals. 1) To provide a tutorial for those
interested in learning how to create human curated GO associations. 2)
To promote discussions on annotation consistency so that the GO
annotations are more consistent from one group to another. Its all
about the people that are doing the work, or wanting to do this type of
work, talking to learn how others curate and to compare the criterion
used to define which evidence code with which GO term would be used for
a particular fact reported in the literature.
