GO Annotation Camp Registration Available

We would like to announce that have now finalized the dates, developed a
working schedule, and made a registration page available for the GO
Annotation Camp to be held at Stanford University this summer.

The Camp will be three and a half days long from 9 am Wednesday, June 1st
until noon on Saturday, June 4th. Apologies in advance if these dates will
not work for you; unfortunately, it was not possible to select a time that
worked for everyone who expressed interest.

Similarly to the 2004 GO Annotation Camp, this will be a practical
workshop focusing on the process of making GO annotations. A significant
portion of our time will be spent reading research articles and using
tools to browse the ontologies to determine as a group the appropriate GO
annotations which can be made from a given paper. We will ask participants
to suggest in advance one or two papers which present annotation issues
they would like to address and will use these papers for working sessions
during the camp.

Registration is required for organizational purposes, but there is NO
registration fee. Some funds will be available to support the
participation of people who might otherwise be unable to attend. Awards
are generally limited to room and board, although in special
circumstances, travel assistance may be available. If you wish to be
considered for such support, please select the appropriate option on the
registration form. General information, the working schedule, and the
registration form are available from the links below.
