[Gofriends] vibrational conductance of sound to the inner ear

Hi GO friends,

I think the following definition is wrong:

vibrational conductance of sound to the inner ear (GO:0055127)

Definition
The series of events involved in the perception of sound vibration. The vibration is transmitted via ossicles to the inner ear.

I say this because "The series of events involved in the perception of sound vibration. " clearly includes brain work, whereas the name of the term implies only the conductance of vibrations (sound) to the inner ear. A better definition would be

"The transmission of vibrations via ossicles to the inner ear."
