The Gene Ontology Consortium would like to announce its latest
publication describing the introduction of annotation extensions.

Annotation extensions represent effector--target relationships such as
localization dependencies, substrates of protein modifiers and
regulation targets of signaling pathways and transcription factors as
well as spatial and temporal aspects of processes such as cell or tissue
type or developmental stage.

The paper, published in BMC Bioinformatics, can be viewed here;

Best wishes,
Rachael Huntley on behalf of the GO Consortium
