Reactome comprises 9,052 human reactions organized into 1,937 pathways involving 8,840 proteins encoded by 8,695 different human genes, and 1,618 small molecules. These annotations are supported by 21,604 literature references. We have projected these reactions onto 103,639 orthologous proteins, creating 20,674 orthologous pathways in 19 non-human species.
