[liberationtech] Jazeera's 'The Stream' seeks tech intern

This also speaks to the issue, more generally, that internships allow the
privileged more opportunities.

I'm not saying that a less-well-off student couldn't do an internship, but
that often enough, s/he has to work a well-paying job in the summers/when
not in class in order to pay for school.

And in an enviroment where internships are important (not crucial, but
helpful) to finding employment, as a society, we're further disadvantaging
the students already disadvantaged.

(This is nothing against AJ, but speaking to the problem overall.)
(And this opinion of mine has been informed by serving on my university's
financial aid committee for a number of years... I now have a better
multi-level understanding of the realities of financial aid and the
demographics of the students that need it.)
