[liberationtech] Facebook and social/protest movements network analysis

Interesting that none of these studies appears to use Facebook friend 
data for SNA purposes--doing so without very careful privacy protections 
and consent would be a serious ethical violation. On the other hand, the 
network holes that would likely result from requiring all participants 
to give explicit consent might well render such a study's results 
useless. A tough nut to crack, to be sure... ~DEEN
