[liberationtech] May 20: Join a #TA3M Event, Hosted in Different Cities throughout the World

Techno-Activism Third Mondays (TA3M) is an informal meetup to connect
activists and technologists who are interested in the challenges of
surveillance and censorship, as well as free and open technology. To date,
TA3m happens in 6 cities throughout the world, with many other cities
launching in the near future.  Info and program by city for this coming

This month's edition will be held at TechInc Hackerspace. Join us for the
latest circumvention and censorship news with Tom Keunen from Free Press
Unlimited. Open-sourcing atlas probes by Vesna from RIPE-NCC, Rubbernose by
Merlijn Wajer, Fairtrademedia by Marc Blumenfrucht and a discussion with

Cambridge's kick-off TA3M, to be held at MIT Media Lab at 6:00pm.

This month's TA3M will be at Sector67 at 7:00pm. Proposed Topics: Intro to
PGP and Keysigning (Bring your laptop so you can create a key and sign

**New York**:
This month's event will be hosted at OpenCUNY at 6:00pm. Presentation: How
to Run A Progressive, Collaborative ISP, given by Alfredo Lopez, founder of
May First/People Link

**San Francisco**:
To be held at Noisebridge at 6:00pm. There will be a round-table discussion
on various topics: tech security training, tahoe-lafs, current projects,
the CTS event in Hong Kong.

Tokyo's TA3M kick off event! This month's event will be held at beez
Shibuya at 19:30-21:30. There will be no specific topic because this is the
preliminary meeting.
