Hello Libtech,

My project arkOS has just started a crowdfunding campaign to push
forward development and add new features over the course of the next
year. Check it out! Any contributions or linksharing on your social
networks is very much appreciated and will go a long way toward
helping us meet our goal.

If you haven't heard of it yet, in a nutshell: arkOS is a Linux-based
OS and software stack that allows users to easily self-host a variety
of services from anywhere, giving them a decentralized alternative to
Google/FB/Dropbox et al. It does this by using established software
suites but managing them with an intuitive graphical management
program called Genesis, removing the need to manage the system from
the command line. The goal is to make hosting a server as easy as
using a desktop PC or a smartphone for most people, as well as
providing an increased degree of privacy and security via many tools
that are built directly into the system. Alpha versions of arkOS have
been produced and are constantly being refined and improved. You can
already host a website with WordPress or Jekyll, or run your own cloud
server with ownCloud, doing all of this with experimental Security and
Certificate frameworks that make securing your services a snap.

The future will add a lot of cool new features, like email hosting,
Tor integration and much more. These can all be included in arkOS with
your help.

Thank you!
