[mininet-discuss] Default OpenFlow version change (was Re: setting OpenFlow version in OVS)

1. You should also be able to pass a default switch constructor to Mininet(), e.g.
Mininet( topo, switch=partial( OVSSwitch, protocols=‘OpenFlow13’  ) )

2. Assuming nobody objects, I think it’s time to change the default protocols argument to ‘Openflow10,OpenFlow13’, moving forward into the brave new world of 2012. Users running OVS versions 1.9 and earlier (aka “isOldOVS()”) will retain the default OpenFlow 1.0 behavior.
