and tried to deploy it into a VMware environment using vSphere 5.5. I 
got an error message:

     The OVF package uses an unsupported disk format
     Details: Line 13: Unsupported value 
"<a href="http://www.vmware.com/interfaces/specifications/vmdk.html" target="_blank">http://www.vmware.com/interfaces/specifications/vmdk.html</a>' for 
attribute 'format' on element 'Disk'
