Hi there,

just sat and watched the 25 min video: The Case for Drupal-- Why the Open
Source CMS is Well-Suited for a Medical Academic
Library<http://www.vimeo.com/991273?pg=embed&sec=991273>.
This will mainly be of interest to web people but it also brings up some
interest points about deploying open vs. proprietary software.

For the benefit of the some of the new (yaay :)) members on our 60 people
strong list I should mention that
Drupal<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drupal>has seen a lot of uptake
here at Stanford (also mentioned in the video).
Check out Sites using
Drupal<https://techcommons.stanford.edu/drupal-book-toc/sites-using-drupal-stanford>at
the excellent
Techcommons <https://techcommons.stanford.edu/> and consider joining the
very helpful and knowledgeable people on the Drupallers mailing
list<https://mailman.stanford.edu/mailman/listinfo/drupallers>
.

Henrik
