PHP Workshop (Two-day Class) - ITS-2511
Thursday, June 28 and Friday, June 29 - 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (both days)
Fee: $525 (STAP funds apply)
Prerequisites: General Web publishing skills and an understanding of HTML.
This intensive two-day course will teach you how to use PHP, a server- side, cross-platform, HTML-embedded scripting language that lets you create dynamic Web pages. PHP is the language that the open source content management system, Drupal, is written in. In order to be able to highly customize and modify sites built with Drupal, PHP is essential.
This course will cover:
- HTML forms
- Control structures
- Regular expressions
- Working with functions
- Working with files
- Working with databases
- PHP and templates
- Creating a full-functioning blog
On completion of this class students will leave with not only great PHP reference material but sample code for future use.
