[protege-discussion] Instance creation for Default, Template Values

Users here have noticed that when a slot has the value type of "Instance 
of <class>", the option to create the default or template instance is 
disabled. Instead, they have to build the instance on the Instances Tab 
and add it it within the widget.  This seems awkward, especially in 
light of the fact that instances can easily be created on demand in many 
other widgets.

The same behavior holds for value types of Symbol and Class -- however, 
in those two cases, disabling creation appears to be appropriate.

Is there a reason for this feature?
