[protege-discussion] looking for API sample / code snippet for checking protege constraints

Hi,

we just got stuck trying to create protege istances vi Java API. Our
program might create data which
violates rules set by our ontology schema. Like in the Protege user
interface protege does not complain
and invalid data is marked red afterwards.

Does anyone hava a code sample on how to check if a change to e.g. a
slotvalue is allowed before actually
doing so? 

>From looking at the Java Doc it should be possible with the methods
implemented by FacetConstraint, but
I have no idea how to use it. Please someone post a code example!
