[protege-discussion] Installer location error in Vista

I am getting the same installer error reported by other users, namely
the installer says: "Please select another location to extract the
installer to:". I am running Windows Vista with all of the updates
applied.

I have checked the mail archives and tried the solutions proposed, but
these have not worked for me. I have also followed step by step the
download instructions given by Jennifer Vendetti for Protege 4 -
namely, saved the file to Users > Downloads, downloaded using IE and
Run as Administrator, but the same alert pops up every time.

Incidentally, I have also tried the long shot of packing and
extracting the file, and extracting using Stuffit, but these have not
helped.

I would rather not install the application myself, but if that is the
only way round this, is there a dummie's guide?
