To re-state it: When the lang attribute is set, for example to "en".
The rdfs:label will not work properly as the Display Slot chosen for
the owl:Class Form.

I am experiencing this when using the owl version of ChEBI from
http://www.berkeleybop.org/ontologies/obo-all/chebi/chebi.owl (63Mb)

Additionally, I have isolate one class in an example file attached
here as chebiFAKE1.owl and the chebiFAKE1.pprj should help you load
the display options to set rdfs:label as the preferred display slot.
Notice that the rdfs:label choice performs correctly when the lang
attribute is set to null using the UI drop down.
