[protege-discussion] sparql panel

Dear Biswanath,
Thanks for your help, but to tell the truth I think I havn't made the question clear. What I want to query is not the explict knowledge, like which value do all the instances of Class B have for a specific property, instead I want to query the implicit knowledge, e.g. since B is a subclass of A, all the instances of B are also instances of A and in this case if I ask the kb to give me all the As, it ought also to return all the instances of B. Therefore here comes the question, can I even query the inferred knowledge using the SPARQL query panel under Protege.
Anyway, many thanks to you for your kindly help :-)
B. Rgds.

Dear Biswanath,
I'm glad to get a positive reply, but I still can't figure out where I've made a mistake, it ought be a quite simple query.
Could u pls give me some more advice? The owl and sparql are attached to this email. Thanks in advance.

Dear Mr. Jun,
Yes, you can. I think you are missing some where in the SPARQL syntax.

Hello everyone,
I have a little question about the SPARQL panel in Protege. I have just built a simple kb with the following structure
A
----B(some instances)
where the 'A' is a superclass of 'B' and 'B' is initiated with some instances and what I'd like to do is to retrieve all the instances of A through SPARQL query, but in the SPARQL query panel the query is always returned with 'no matches'. Have also tried to use reasoner firstly to compute inferred types, but still no results. My question is: can I query the inferred individuals under Protege?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Best Rgds,
Jun
