Yes - we have this working here.  The one thing that is unfortunate 
about the windows deploy is that the Protege server runs with full 
privileges which is non-optimal.

We haven't quite released it yet but it would be good to know what is 
happening and get it to work.  My first guess, from your error is that 
the org.protege.owl.server build failed but for some reason the build 
continued running until it hit the problem that you describe below.  The 
class that you are missing should have been found in the 
org.protege.owl.server.jar file that should have been built by the time 
you reach this stage.

Could you send me the full logs from the ant deploy run?  It looks like 
you can do this in windows with the following magic incantation:

       ant deploy > log.txt 2>&1


It might actually be useful to also have a verbose log of the run:


       ant -v deploy > log-with-everything.txt 2>&1
