Hi,
Is there an API which gets all the DataType Properties and Object
Properties for a specific User Defined Class ?

Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Siddharth

Is there an API that returns a collection of all datatype properties
from
the OWL ontology?

I've looked at all the methods in OWLModel, and could find only a method
that returned a collection of Annotation properties.

Thanks,

Bill

Dear Mr Samson Tu,

When i received your reply, I remembered that I forgot about replacing
my
old version of protege in this project. Now I've replaced old Protege
files
by the new files.

After all, I still have a question to ask you:

By default, does Protege set plugin folder is in our project when we
create
new project ?

- Suppose that, we create a new project SemanticWeb in D partition with
structure:

D:\SemanticWeb
                         \lib
                              \GATE
(FOLDER)
                                        \ <all libraries of GATE >
(FOLDERS AND FILES OF GATE LIBRARY)

\gate.jar (JAR FILE)
                              \protege.jar
(JAR FILE)
                              \plugins
(FOLDER)
\ <all libraries of Protege and
plugins folders such as edu.stanford.smi.protegex.owl, ...>
                         \src <contains all source files of SemanticWeb>

And when we run or debug our project, by default, does Protege set
plugin
folder is in our project when we create new project ?
Why did i say about this, because when i run program, it still has
warning
message:

CONFIG: Protege 3.2.1 Build 365, JVM 1.5.0_11-b03, memory=66M, Windows
XP,
encoding=UTF-8, language=en, country=US
WARNING: Plugins directory not found:
D:\ChapterExtension\Exercise01\plugins
-- PluginUtilities.findPluginsDirectory ()

When I displayed protege plugin file by using code:
ProtegeOWL.getPluginFolder().getAbsolutePath(), I saw:
D:\SemanticWeb\plugins

After that, I asked myself, "Does the Protege set plugins folder is at
level
1 of our project when we use Protege ?".
If you agree or disagree with me, please explain it to me and show me
how
can i reset plugins folder's path before using
ProtegeOWL.createJenaOWLModelFromURI(<URI path>) method.

I'm looking forward to seeing your replies.
Thank you for all.

Sincerely yours,

Duong Quoc Thang

Hey

I am using Jena Frame Work API and you have option like
listDatatypeProperties(), ObjecttypeProperties() etc. you will get list
all
the properties u have listed in the ontology. we can also get OWL
properties
like annotation, functional. check the documentation of Jena for more
information.

With the help of Timothy Redmond and Samson Tu, I solved my trouble: set
plugins directory when we run java files using ProtegeOWL

- replaced old protege files by new protege files.
- run program with jvm options : -Dprotege.dir=the path of protege
directory

When I overcomed plugins trouble, the program alert "It needs
test.repository file". So i use protege 3.2.1 to create
test.repositoryfile. However, I realized that the file
test.owl changed when i create repository by using the part of importing
ontology in metadata tab. Test.owl file changed from 586 kb to 395 kb.

So i wonder is the content of the new test.owl file different from the
old
test.owl file ? May I use it in the project or reuse the old test.owl
file
in project ?

And I still have had an error:

INFO: Loading triples
Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:

I checked the source string - URI - pointing test.owl file with pattern
"
file:///D:/SemanticWeb/lib/test.owl", but the program didn't know about
the
resource. So it made the above error.

Have you had any ideas about this problem ?
