[protege-owl] API Programming: NoClassDefFoundError:

When working through the Protege-OWL API Programmer's Guide I find I
am unable to ge past first base, ie. output: "Class URI: http://".

I am using NetBeans on a MacOSX.

I have placed protege.jar on the Classpath, this is evidenced by
importing as a test import: import edu.stanford.smi.protege.model.Cls
and no error is reported.

However, when I try to import from
edu.stanford.smi.protegex.model.OWLModel (In fact all protegex
stuff), I get an error reported. I can remove this error by placing
protege-OWL.jar on the CLASSPATH. Is this the correct thing to do?

I can then import without error, in fact these are 'suggested' by
NetBeans as it makes reference to the library:
	import edu.stanford.protege.smi.owl.model.OWL.OWLModel;
	import edu.stanford.smi.protegex.owl.model.OWLNamedClass;
	import edu.stanford.smi.protegex.owl.ProtegeOWL;

I now have no obvious errors. However, when I either run or bulld the
program I get the following message:

Compiling 1 source file to /Applications/Protege_3.3_beta/
Warning: Cannot set console log debugger handler.
Error adding file handler to logger
Warning: IO exception getting logger. null

         at com.demo.application.OWLAPIDemoApplication.main

BUILD SUCCESSFUL (total time: 0 seconds)

Your help would be appreciated.
