[protege-owl] protege/swrltab sameAs?

Yes - sameAs (and differentFrom) apply only to OWL individuals. cf. the 
language FAQ [1].

Make sure to use the latest Protege 3.4 beta if you are going to 
experiment with SWRL extensively.
