[protege-owl] assign property value to a Thing individual(want to get inferred individuals)

I see what you mean. My problem is that I cannot assign a Thing individual as
property value. I wanted to be able to define a Thing individual(myCat), a
person individual(John), link John and myCat with has_pet property and infer
that myCat is an Animal, using the reasoner.
