*Objectives***

This workshop aims at introducing state-of-the-art and advances in web
semantic technologies, web services and knowledge engineering in order to
discover solutions for collaborative work in Science, Health, and Web
Science. Web2Touch is traditionally oriented to new ways of intending the
web as an active support to interdisciplinary fields. This edition of W2T
will also bring the opportunity to have your work selected to be part of
indexed journals.

  Case studies of the social semantic web and knowledge integration

  Ontology and knowledge integration

  Ontology development in social networks

  Semantic web services

  Distributed social linked data

Authors are invited to submit original papers of up 6 pages, written in
English, following the two-column IEEE

Please submit your paper in PDF format to the Web2Touch

peer reviewed by three independent reviewers. Accepted papers will be

*Special features of the W2T Workshop*

Two Special Issues in indexed journals
---------------

Two special issues are planned (the Wiley Concurrency and Computation:
Practice and Experiment Journal and the Springer Journal of Supercomputing)
to publish a *selection of best papers* of the *main conference*,
Notere'2010, *and* the *associated workshops*. One special issue will be
devoted to contributions addressing models, methods, protocols,
architectures for communication and cooperation. The other issue will be
devoted to contributions related to methods, models, software, and
architectures for knowledge/distribution.
