This spring quarter on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30pm to 1:50pm I will be teaching the graduate course
Math 233C Topics in Combinatorics, Advances in Extremal and Probabilistic Combinatorics
It assumes Math 159 (the undergraduate course on probabilistic methods in combinatorics).
A brief description: Math 233C is an advanced graduate class on extremal and probabilistic combinatorics. Important methods, results and open problems will be highlighted. These methods include dependent random choice, containers method, entropy method, and randomized algebraic geometric constructions.
The syllabus is attached to this email. The lectures will be over zoom.
