The ITS WebAuth team is pleased to announce Stanford WebAuth 3.7.3. This
is a bug fix release for problems with WebAuth 2.x backward compatibility
and some compilation problems on Red Hat Enterprise.

For documentation and downloads of WebAuth 3.7.3, see:

    <http://webauth.stanford.edu/>

New Debian packages have been uploaded to Debian experimental. New Red Hat
packages will be coming soon; hopefully the compilation problems there are
now resolved.

The user-visible changes in this release are:

    * Explicitly link the mod_webauthldap module with the portability glue
      library, fixing a build failure on Red Hat Enterprise 4 x86_64.

    * Fix LDAP attribute retrieval in WebAuth 2.x backward compatibility
      mode, which was broken in 3.7.0.

    * The WebAuth library also installs a pkg-config configuration file
      for the use of software that wants to link against it.

    * Update to rra-c-util 2.7:
        o Look for krb5-config in /usr/kerberos/bin after the user's PATH.
        o Update utility library and test suite for newer GCC warnings.
